Abstract
This essay focuses on the original artistic production of Balkjian and Wight, who were among the most prominent printmakers active in London in the 1970s through to the first decade of the new century. Besides working for artists like Freud, Auerbach, Kossoff and Paul, they produced delicate and technically sophisticated works in print that are here discussed and contextualised.
