Abstract

The National Wall Paintings Survey is an unparalleled archive of documentation and images relating to Britain's mural heritage. Comprising information on over 8,500 sites with wall paintings, it forms an essential point of reference for all those interested in the significance and care of these works. Our new online catalogue enables easy exploration of these resources, many of which are now available to download without charge for non-commercial use. The process of digitisation is ongoing, with new material being added all the time.
